Timmy Driver

Quick Update (Winter 2010-11)

In the spring of 2009 Timmy finished his career at JMU (setting the JMU record for most rounds under par, I believe), but not before he won a Division-I college tournament with a final-round 65 at the Ironwood Pirate Invitational in North Carolina. He ended up with 6 Top-20 finishes in his senior season.

We kept working throughout 2009 and early 2010 with a thought of taking a shot at the mini-tours, but Timmy landed a great job in Florida and headed off to the "real world".

Coach's Comments

Timmy is one of the best pressure players I've ever seen, and one of the best golfers to come out of this area. Better than that, from my perspective, is that he is a great young guy to be around, and a great friend. I had the privilege of coaching him for more than a decade, and could not be more excited about all of his achievements.
